When language is determined by masses who prefer the easiest routes, rather than taking the time to think and learn, how much of theater that uses language to convey message will be lost to the audience? People like myself are considered smart, but more often than not I have to look up words in order to even remember how to spell them let alone what they mean. Our levels of expectation were never high. People think that society has degraded and I would disagree. I'd say the masses were never required or driven to raise the bar any higher and the easy route is usually the best. Do we then have a division of elitist theater and the theater of the people created not just by money but also the language barrier?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
